Our programs in Business Administration will give you the strong business core, sought-after computer and communications skills, and real-world internship experiences you need to get started in a career in business.
Business Administration AAS degree
The Business Administration AAS degree program will give you the entry-level managerial skills you need to jumpstart your career in industries like marketing, international business, human resources management, computer applications, and recreation management. You also will be able to use what you learn to climb the ranks to a leadership role.

Prerequisites
One High School Mathematics Course or its equivalent is required.

Upon completion of the two-year associate in applied science degree program, students should be competent in all of the following areas:
- Preparation to enter the field of business or transfer to a higher educational institution
- Effective interaction within a diverse business population
- Effective communication
- Ability to solve business problems and use computers as a problem-solving and communications tool
- Understanding of world-wide issues related to business
- Understanding that business decisions are based on systematic processes such as accounting systems, MIS, and the economic way of thinking
- Ability to summarize, report, and interpret financial data
- Information literacy using traditional and contemporary information technology and the ability to identify, access, and appropriately use authoritative sources of information
Business Administration AS degree
If you're looking to get a head-start on a bachelor’s degree in business, our Business Administration AS degree program will give you the tools you need to successfully transfer to a four-year college or university. Learn the basics and open up the possibilities for your future career in business. This program is fully available on both the Utica and Rome campuses.
Prerequisites
Two High School Mathematics Courses or their equivalent, plus one year of laboratory science required.
