Students who have any level of ESL on an academic transcript will be required to take the ACCUPLACER writing and reading portion of the placement test. Exemptions may be made for qualifying AP, ACT, or SAT scores, dual enrollment, or previous college credit. A high school GPA will not be a standard criteria for exemption from the reading and writing placement test.
The students are required to take the following courses based on the writing score results:
- 0005 = EN101
- 0004 = ESL Score
- 0003 = EN101r (Remedial)
- 0002 = EN090
- 0001 = Pending Score
