MVCC recognizes the importance of each employee’s length of service in a couple different ways.  

During the month of each employee’s five-year anniversary date the College President, joined by the Vice President in charge of the employee’s area, the employee’s direct supervisor, and other colleagues and friends, gather together to celebrate her/his achievements and successes.  This is a brief “ceremony” that includes a Certificate of Longevity present.

All employees having observed a five-year anniversary during the academic year are included in a commemorative listing in the Summer Institute Brochure that is distributed during the Summer Institute Luncheon each year.
