The Honors Brunch, hosted by the Lambda Beta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, is held annually on the morning of May Commencement. It brings together the College community to honor graduating students (from December, May, and August) who have distinguished themselves academically at Mohawk Valley Community College.
Honors cords for graduation are given to those students who have a cumulative GPA of a 3.75 or higher. Additionally, graduates from Phi Theta Kappa, the Honors Program, and Spire, and other regional award winners are recognized.
Students deserving of at least one of these honors who have applied to graduate by April 1 will receive an invitation by letter and email in mid-April. Questions about the program can be directed to the Phi Theta Kappa advisor Liz Doherty.
