New Employee Orientation (NEO) is designed to create a welcoming and informative introduction to the college setting for new members of the MVCC community.  The emphasis is on creating face to face interpersonal connections between the new members themselves, and with the college Cabinet.  The program includes: opportunities for new employees of the MVCC community to get to know each other in a fun and relaxed atmosphere; a short interactive multimedia presentation of the college’s history, values, and cultural paradigm; lunch with the College Cabinet and others; and an introduction to the StrengthsQuest assessment tool.  The emphasis throughout is on creating a warm, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere.
