The New Faculty Experience (NFE) formally known as New Faculty Institute (NFI) is designed specifically to meet the needs and interests of new full-time faculty entering Mohawk Valley Community College; it is an extended orientation program and learning community for faculty who are transitioning into the teaching and learning culture of the college.  Participants in the NFE meet bi-monthly for 1 1/2 hours to complete faculty development workshops, engage in dialogue on teaching and learning, and build essential working relationships with colleagues throughout the institution.  While the focus is on the new full-time faculty cohort, adjunct faculty are invited to attend on their own time.
