MVCC was an honored recipient of a Title III, Strengthening Institutions Program Grant by the U.S. Department of Education in 2015.  The grant will be funding the Pathway to Graduation Project (PGP). 

Purpose of the Grant

Build MVCC's capacity to meet the needs of low-income students by providing comprehensive, integrated academic support services on campus and online; and enlivening learning engagement in 18 gateway courses which currently exhibit large gaps in successful completion.

Pathway to Graduation Project Outcomes

By September 2020, MVCC will increase student retention from fall-to-fall by 10 percent and graduation by five percent.
