Mission
The Institutional Research and Analysis Office serves as a data resource for the college community. We promote institutional effectiveness by gathering, maintaining, analyzing and reporting data in support of strategic decision-making, and in support of externally mandated reporting.
Vision
To provide timely, accurate and user-friendly responses to data requests and to promote a culture of inquiry.
Confidentiality Statement
All student data we collect and disseminate is in accordance with the provisions of the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Data on employees gathered for institutional assessment purposes is kept strictly confidential and generally shared only in aggregate form or as specified by contractual agreements.
An Institution’s Effectiveness is the measure of how well programs and services reflect and fulfill its mission and vision.
To that end, assessing student learning and the underlying and accompanying functions and services are the responsibility of each and every unit of the college. The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis, along with the Assessment Liaison, supports the college community by collecting and analyzing supporting data; documenting, organizing, and encouraging the assessment process; and sharing the results.
