The Department of Events and Guest Services at Mohawk Valley Community College has four separate divisions — Box Office & Ticketing, Commencement, Facility Use/Rentals, and the Campus Events — that host a variety of events on our campuses in Utica and Rome. Each year, we work with over 100,000 people — including our students, our colleagues (MVCC employees), and our community members — all of whom we consider “guests.”
The mission of the department of Events and Guest Services is to give our guests a truly positive experience so they have the desire to return to MVCC. We do that by doing our best to use MVCC's Core Values at all times:
