How to apply for EOP at MVCC
Space in MVCC's Educational Opportunity Program is limited. Please start your application process early following these steps:
Complete the MVCC Admissions Application online and answer the appropriate questions to indicate interest in EOP. Then, complete the EOP Supplemental Application.
Apply for financial aid by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the Express TAP (Tuition Assistance Program) applications.
Please note: You must have a FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office to make your application complete.
Complete and submit the EOP Financial Information Form. Please reference the EOP Financial Checklist to see required documentation.
When will I know I am accepted into MVCC EOP?
Once all steps of the application process are complete, you will receive confirmation from EOP that your applications has been reviewed and you have been deemed eligible. You will be invited to a scheduled interview, either in-person or by phone. The interview gives you the chance to share more about your accomplishments and personal strengths, as well as your academic and professional goals. It's also an opportunity for you to learn more about MVCC EOP and have all your questions answered.
Finally, you will receive an acceptance letter from MVCC EOP, and then can begin preparing for the Pre-Freshman Summer Program!
