Understanding Disruptive Versus Dangerous Behaviors: Strategies for Evaluating and
Responding in Campus Settings

The college community is more complex and diverse than ever before. Pressures from
outside coupled with gaps and challenges emerging out of Covid create the conditions
for increased individual and community anxiety, aggression, and more in our classrooms,
meetings, residences, athletic fields, and across general offices and operations.
As MVCC reviews and updates its own behavioral reporting and intervention processes,
we invite the entire campus to join us for this informative session outlining frameworks
for identifying and evaluating concerning behaviors and interactions. Suggested strategies
for responding as well as partnering across the College will be discussed.
