Classes are for all ages and are all non-credit. Locations include MVCC's Utica and Rome campuses and various locations in Oneida County.

Let MVCC help you get (or stay) in shape by signing up for one of our health and wellness classes. Choose from several yoga classes, palates, HIIT yoga, Cardio Hoop, and many more. Classes are offered on the MVCC Utica Campus and at the Jewish Community Center. 

Want to learn how to create a balanced lifestyle? Choose a holistic wellness class to work on your body, mind, and soul so you can achieve success, happiness, health, and fulfillment in all areas of your life.

Our variety of adult swim programs will help you get fit while having fun. Choose from Aqua Zumba, Water Aerobics, and Water Running. We also have adult swim classes for all skill levels. All classes take place on the MVCC Utica Campus.

Interested in working at a pool or lake? Whether you want to become a lifeguard, a swim lesson instructor, or just get recertified in CPR, MVCC has the class for you.

Get your kids ready for safe swimming! Our highly regarded swim lesson program will make sure they are safe by the beach, pool, or lake. From ages 12 months to 12 years, we offer a variety of classes for all swim levels.

Enrollment is limited in all levels and will be taken on a first-come basis. All classes take place on the MVCC Utica Campus. There are several sessions to choose from to suit your schedule.

Parents are expected to place their child into the correct class. Students must have the prerequisite levels or be able to master all previous level expectations before going to the next level. Because classes become full, instructors may not be able to move your child into their proper level. Please evaluate your child based on American Red Cross levels. Goggles (not face masks) are recommended for all levels beginning with Level 1.

Keep your kids engaged with one of our many College for Kids and Teens programs, from cooking to coding, minecraft to magic. In the summer, there over 40 camps and 70 options to choose from, Monday through Thursday for morning and afternoons, full and half days. During the school year, we hold programs during school breaks and on weekends. New classes include series for parents and children, and new program for teens!
Taking a test? Let MVCC help you review for it. Choose classes to prep for the SAT, ACT, GMAT, LSAT, GRE, and Math Regents. Classes are offered on our Utica and Rome campuses and online.

MVCC offers online insurance courses through Exam FX.

This popular series offers a certificate for new professionals, people looking to become professionals, and avid home brewers. Instructors are industry professionals with years of experience. This hands-on program takes place at MVCC's Utica Campus in a science lab and consists of seven classes on topics such as Barley 101, Water Chemistry, Hops 101, Quality, and Off-Flavors & Characteristics. This series is offered in the Spring and Fall.

Get the training you need to update your skills and certification in the construction field. Choose from lead certifications, OSHA training, and green building courses. Get all the information you need for safe work practices. In-person classes take place at our Construction and Trades Center in Downtown Utica, and online options are available.
It's never too late to learn something new! Whether you want to learn to decorate cookies, take up golf, or learn a language, there's sure to be something to awaken your passion. We have a wide variety of new - and popular - non-credit offerings.

CCED has a long history of offering music and dance classes in the Mohawk Valley. Choose from beginner or intermediate Ballroom Dance, Community Concert Band, or Intro to Drums. 
Let's get back to basics! CCED is proud to offer some basic life skills classes for young adults. Topics include financial management, basic home repair, and Cooking 101. 
MVCC is proud to offer classes to improve your safety. We offer Defensive Driving classes in partnership with Oneida County Traffic Safety. We also offer self-defense classes. Be prepared if you need to physically fight off an attacker. Whether you are a woman, man, senior, or college student, we have classes you can take to keep you safe wherever you are.

All MVCC non-credit instruction is completely self-supporting, including indirect costs, and requires no public funds.
