Program Information:
Turn your passion for fashion into a career! With our Fashion Design AAS degree program, you’ll gain the creative, traditional, and technical skills for clothing and apparel ideation, construction, and production, and be prepared to enter a career in fashion design, garment technology, and fashion merchandising, or for transfer to a bachelor’s program.
The curriculum begins with a focus on the fundamentals of fashion illustration, garment construction, and draping. In the second year, you'll deepen your expertise by applying techniques in pattern making, advanced sewing and construction methods, while also preparing for professional practice through capstone projects and portfolio development.
