Mohawk Valley Community College is offering several sports camps this summer for youth and teens at the Utica Campus, 1101 Sherman Drive.
Soccer Camp
The MVCC Soccer Camp — for boys and girls ages 7 to 15 — will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 29-July 2, 2026.
Led by MVCC Women’s Soccer Coach Jim Vitale and Men’s Soccer Coach Dominic DiMaggio, the camp will include instruction in technical skills, individual ball skills, and group and team tactics, as well as camp league games and contests. Campers will be organized into three ability divisions, allowing for maximum skills development for all ages. A Goal Keeper’s Camp will be offered for youth interested in goalie training.

Baseball Camp
MVCC’s Baseball Camp — for boys ages 7 to 15 — will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 13-17, 2026.
Led by MVCC Assistant Baseball Coach Edward Zakrzewski, this camp will include instruction in hitting, throwing progressions, defensive position play, and sandlot games with coaches. Campers will be placed in groups based on age. Through hands-on instruction and practice, campers will enhance their understanding of the game, develop teamwork, and build confidence on the field.

Softball All-Skills Camp
MVCC’s Softball All-Skills Camp — for girls ages 8 to 18 — will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, July 20-23, 2026.
Led by MVCC Softball Coach Brittnee Mexico, this camp will focus on technical and tactical skills development, enabling campers to prepare for the spring season in a contained, focused, and competitive environment. It will include advanced training techniques and fun, game-related activities for all players.

Volleyball All-Skills Camp
MVCC’s Volleyball All-Skills Camp — for girls ages 8 to 18 — will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday, Aug. 3-6, 2026.
Led by MVCC Volleyball players and Coach Courtney Piazza, the camp will provide the opportunity to learn and practice in a fun environment focused on skills development with strategy sessions, drills, and scrimmages.
