Megan Piphus, the puppeteer who plays Gabrielle on “Sesame Street,” will perform at
Mohawk Valley Community College at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, in Schafer Theater at
the Utica Campus.
The show is brought to you by MVCC Campus Events and sponsored by MVCC Student Congress. Tickets, which are are $20 for the public, $15 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students, go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at mvcc.edu/tickets.
Piphus, a renowned puppeteer and ventriloquist, became the first Black female puppeteer to perform on “Sesame Street” in 2021. She also has made appearances on “The Tonight Show,” “America’s Got Talent,” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
