Mohawk Valley Community College’s Advanced Institute of Manufacturing has partnered with FuzeHub and the Manufacturing and Technology Resource Consortium at Stony Brook University to host a statewide Manufacturing Day virtual event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be interactive and feature speakers and an exhibitor fair during which students can network with more than 65 manufacturing companies and organizations that promote manufacturing from across New York. Speakers include Cory Albrecht, director of MVCC’s AIM; Steve Melito, solutions specialist at FuzeHub; and Everton Henriques, director of NY MEP Solutions at FuzeHub.
“Manufacturing Day celebrates and brings awareness to the manufacturing industry in the U.S.,” said Albrecht. “Virtual Manufacturing Day 2020, hosted by MVCC, FuzeHub, and MTRC, will provide hundreds of students the opportunity to connect with local and statewide manufacturers and identify pathways to enter the industry. We have received a tremendous amount of support from Mohawk Valley regional manufacturers as well as school districts, and, working together, we will make October 16th a great event.”
