Mohawk Valley Community College has created a new two-year degree program in Health Sciences, which will be offered beginning in the Fall 2020 semester.

The Health Sciences Associate of Science (AS) degree program is designed to provide foundational learning for students interested in healthcare careers and offers an alternative pathway to licensure healthcare programs such as nursing, respiratory care, and radiologic technology.

The program, designed by MVCC faculty with advisory from industry professionals, meets the requirements for the SUNY Health Education Transfer Pathway, which guarantees seamless transfer into a Health Studies, Health Sciences, Public Health, or Healthcare Management bachelor’s degree program at a four-year college or university, such as SUNY Cortland, SUNY Brockport, and Utica College.
