Mohawk Valley Community College has named Christopher J. Crolius ’78 the 2019 MVCC Alumni of Merit Award winner.

Crolius, a principal and founder of MARCH Associates Architects and Planners, PC, plays an active role in all aspects of the firm’s operations, utilizing his background in construction and taking a hands-on approach to solving design and construction issues. MARCH Associates is an architectural firm dedicated to the planning, design, and construction of high quality educational, corporate, and industrial facilities. The firm has worked on many projects at MVCC’s campuses, including the Learning Commons and Alumni College Center renovations.

Crolius is a registered architect in New York State, and a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Construction Specifications Institute; the Sealant, Waterproofing, and Restoration Institute; and the Mohawk Valley Builders Exchange. He enjoys working and collaborating with all members of the MARCH team, and when not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindy, and two sons, David and Brian. Crolius earned his associate degree in Civil Technology from MVCC in 1978, his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Utica College in 1980, and his master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1985.
