Hawkeye Tip


All members of the MVCC Community are invited to submit a Hawkeye Tip.

What is it?  This form allows members of the community to share safety concerns, microaggression concerns or bias concerns.

Guiding Points?

    • Safety or uneasiness concern: A concern for the well-being of person or property. 
    • Bias Related:  The word "bias" means tending to favor one thing, person, or group over another, either consciously or unconsciously.
    • Microaggression Related: Microaggressions are subtle, often unintentional comments or actions that express a prejudiced attitude toward a marginalized group.  These can seem harmless or insignificant but can be hurtful and offensive to the person on the receiving end.

IMPORTANT NOTES

    • This form is not responded to in real time. Incidents that require immediate intervention should be reported to the Department of Public Safety at 315-731-5777  or the RA on Duty at 315-792-5310.
    • This form option is not considered OFFICIAL report or complaint.  To file an official report or complaint, please see the Department of Public Safety or the Office of Judicial Affairs & Community Standards.
    • This alert option is not a substitution for a BERT report.
