2008 Season Summary

The Women´s Cross Country Team finished their season undefeated 25-0 against two year college competition under the direction of head coach Gary Parker (19th season). They won the Mountain Valley Conference and Region III. Their season culminated by wining the NJCAA Division III National Championship. This marked the programs ninth national title. This coupled with the Men´s team second place finish at Nationals placed the cross country program as the recipient of the coveted Pepsi Cup; awarded to the college with the best combined men and women´s finish at the national championships. Heather Vroman; Individual Conference, Regional and National Champion, Hannah Hoffman and Sara Pick; All-Conference, All-Region and All-American, and Lauren Penc; All-Conference led the Hawks.
