2008 Season Summary
Under the direction of head coach Marcia Laidlaw (10th season) the Volleyball Team finished their season with an 18-9 record. The team won the Mountain Valley Conference (second consecutive and sixth out of the past eight years) going undefeated in conference play. They were seeded 5th in the Region III Tournament. They advanced to the semi finals defeating Adirondack CC 3-0. In the semi finals they were defeated by the eventual regional champions, Alfred State, 3-0. The Hawks were led by Samantha Roberts; first team All-Conference and second team All-Region, and Tonya Snyder; first team All-Conference. Head Coach Marcia Laidlaw was selected as the Coach of the Year in the Mountain Valley Conference.
