Head Coach: Steve Senior
Steve Senior is a 1973 graduate of East Stroudsburg College where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education. He then went on to get a Master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University. While at East Stroudsburg Coach Senior was a standout Wrestler for four years. He came to Mohawk Valley Community college in 1975 where he has been a Coach and Physical Education/Health instructor ever since. Coach Senior spent 20 years as the Head Men’s Wrestling coach before the program was eliminated in 1995. he has also been the Men’s Tennis Coach since 1975. He took over a fledgling MVCC Women’s Soccer program in 1996 and has turned them into a Regional power. The Women’s Soccer team has an overall record of 146-42-8 under Coach Senior which includes Region III Titles in 2003, 2004 and 2006. MVCC won the National Championship in 2003, finished as National Runners-Up in 2004, and finished 3rd in 2006. Steve resides in Sauquoit, NY.
Assistant Coach: Jim Price
Jim Price is a graduate of Utica College. He started coaching at MVCC in 2003 as Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach and helped the team post a 14-3 record and national ranking. In 2004, Coach Price joined the women’s soccer program and has been a valuable asset to the programs success. Jim’s extensive coaching resume includes coaching at the premier level for both men’s and women’s teams as part of the Bandits Soccer Club in the Central New York State Soccer League (CNYSSL). Jim is currently President of both the Bandits SC and the CNYSSL. He has also served as AYSO Regional Commissioner in the Waterville area for the past six years. Jim resides in Waterville, NY.
