2008 – 2009 Season Summary
Under the direction of Head Coach Rob Seymour (6th Season) the Hawks finished their season at 12–7–3. The team finished 4th in Region III and qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament for the second consecutive season and the second time in the collegeacutes;s history. The team won its National Quarter Final game versus Hudson Valley CC 3–1. Playing the following day the team fell to number one ranked Erie CC. Kevin McCready of Poughkeepsie, NY was named the Region III Player of the Year. Joining Anderson on the 1st team All Region Team was Mike Mason (Utica, NY). McCready was also name First Team all American and Mason was Second Team All American. Kevin McCready broke the college´s record for the most goals in a career with 67 and in a single season with 39. The team also set the mark for the fewest losses in a regular season with 6. The Hawks will return a solid core of sophomores and mix in some talented freshmen and make a run at the Region III Title next season. The team meeting for the 2009–2010 Season will be held on Thursday August 27th at 5pm in the Team Room. The Team Room is location in the Gym on the first floor.
