Rome Campus

Dean Ron CantorRome, New York is the home of MVCC’s branch campus serving communities throughout Oneida and Madison Counties. A full–service branch campus, Rome offers courses leading to many of MVCC’s more than 100 degree and certificate programs, plus non–credit workshops, seminars, and a range of business/industry training opportunities. The Rome Campus also hosts a growing schedule of cultural and community events.

At any hour of the day or evening you will find individuals of diverse ages and interests in our classrooms, learning laboratories, fitness center, computer clusters, meeting rooms, library, bookstore, offices, and common areas. Many people enjoy the friendly, person–oriented environment of the Rome Campus.

Remember–– Rome Campus students complete courses leading to dozens of other MVCC degree and certificate programs as well. Those listed above simply have the largest Rome Campus enrollments. Some programs can be completed in their entirety on the Rome campus, while other programs have the majority of their courses offered in Rome.

MVCC is pleased to announce that the Airframe and Powerplant Certificate program will welcome its next class soon. The one year program trains students in virtually every area of aircraft maintenance and repair including welding, wing maintenance and engine work. Students study at the Rome campus and at the former Griffiss Air Force Base.
