The Life Science Department is able to offer you opportunities for transfer to public and private baccalaureate institution in a variety of science related programs. If you are interested in earning an Associate Degree before transferring, MVCC has the courses and opportunities which will allow you full junior status after completing one of our programs. Our degree opportunities range from pre-professional (Pre Med, Pre Dental, Pre Pharmacy, Pre Veterinarian, Pre Environmental Sciences, etc.) to biology, health related, nutrition/dietetics as well as geology to name but a few. The department has articulation agreements with all SUNY institutions and with some of the most prestigious 4-year private institutions in New York State and in the country. Our laboratories are state of the art and MVCC is one of only a few 2-year colleges using cadavers in Human Anatomy and Physiology courses.
