Dental Hygiene

The Dental Hygiene program is a jointly registered program with SUNY Canton. Lectures are offered at MVCC's Rome campus or through SUNY Canton's course management system, Blackboard. The dental science labs and clinical sessions are offered at the dental clinic in the Veterans Administration Outpatient Facility on Brookley Road in Rome, NY. Since SUNY Canton is the primary sponsor for this jointly registered program, all propsective students must send their application directly to the SUNY Canton campus. The Admissions Office on that campus assumes responsibility for reviewing all applications. Your acceptance letter will be generated from that campus. Prospective students wishing to work on pre-requisite courses at MVCC are encouraged to do so. The math, biology and chemistry pre-requisite courses are easily transferred from MVCC to SUNY Canton.
